SENIOR Wii ENGINEER
Original IP Next Gen
OVERVIEW
Stormfront Studios is adding to its staff and looking for a top Senior
Wii Engineer to plan and design large engineering systems for game applications
and port and enhance our existing next generation engine. We are a top
independent video game development company with a proven track record
over the past 19 years working on two high-profile titles, including an
original IP, for next generation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the overall implementation of the core game systems on the Wii
platform for our proprietary cross platform engine.
- Design and develop tools that may be required during the production
of a game project.
- Participate in design discussions & other meetings with Technical
Directors and Project Leads to make and implement architectural decisions.
- Communicate with other engineers to ensure smooth interfacing of
other systems.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5+ years of professional game development experience (console
preferred).
- Experience with Nintendo Wii or Gamecube development.
- Excellent C/C++ proficiency and design skills.
- Core Gameplay mechanic development.
- Input systems development experience a plus.
- Passion for developing and playing video games.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
