PROGRAMMERS (ALL LEVELS)

Overview
Stormfront Studios is looking for an experienced, creative and highly motivated Programmers to join our talented team in the creation of our next blockbuster title! Based upon a high profile license that will appear as a major motion picture in 2008, this action-adventure game will benefit from unprecedented collaboration and synergy with the film. If you've got the chops and drive to bring an exciting license to life across multiple platforms, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Technical Directors and Project Engineering Leads to design and implement various engine, tools and gameplay systems.
  • Evaluate internal proprietary game engine to determine the best tools solutions.
  • Specific duties will vary depending on the skill-set of the successful applicant.

You will be responsible for one or more of the following areas:

  • AI and Gameplay Scripting systems.
  • Scripting system implementation and development.
  • Custom User Interface development.
  • Build and asset management systems.
  • Particle and full screen effects.
  • Core optimization and profiling systems.
  • Physics/Collision systems.
  • Matchmaking services, ladders, and community support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent C/C++ proficiency and design skills.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid software engineering skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid Math background.
  • Passion for developing and playing video games.
  • Relocation to the San Francisco area.
